Today, our Stingers stepped into the shoes of future professionals as we celebrated Career Day! 🌟 Students proudly showcased a variety of careers, demonstrating their dreams, talents, and aspirations for the future.

💡 From doctors and teachers to entrepreneurs, engineers, first responders, and more, our students embraced the opportunity to explore the many possibilities that await them.

🎶 A special thank you to one of the best DJs around, DJ Topman Kee, for keeping the energy high and the vibes flowing throughout the day! 🎧🔥

💆‍♀️ We also extend our sincere appreciation to Natasha George, our expert masseuse, for sharing her profession and helping students learn about careers in health, wellness, and self-care.

🎒✨ Transition Day in Kindergarten ✨🎒

Today was an exciting day for our future Stingers as they took part in Transition Day! 🐝💛 Students had the opportunity to explore their new learning environment, meet teachers and classmates, and participate in fun, engaging activities designed to help them feel comfortable and confident.

🌟 Through play, discovery, and interaction, our little learners began their journey toward a successful school year. We are so proud of how eagerly they embraced this new experience!

🐝✨ Our Senior Stingers proudly participated in the Senior Stinger Professional Development Seminar, a day dedicated to preparing them for the future through learning, leadership, and personal growth. 📸🎓

From professional photos to engaging and thought-provoking sessions, students embraced every opportunity to develop the skills and mindset needed for success beyond the Hive.

🛍️🎉 Grade 2 turned learning about Goods and Services into an exciting game of Hopscotch! 🐝✨

🔍 As students hopped from square to square, they identified and sorted examples of goods and services while discussing how they are used in everyday life. Through movement, teamwork, and active participation, students strengthened their understanding of this important Social Studies concept.

😄 The fun was so contagious that Mrs. Pickering decided to sample the hopscotch herself, joining in on the excitement and showing that learning can be enjoyable for everyone! 👏🎉

🧠 Learning was fun, engaging, and full of energy as students hopped their way to success! 🌟

🌈🎉 Grade 1 students turned learning positional words into a fun-filled adventure with a lively game of Twister! 🌀🤸‍♀️

📚 As students laughed, stretched, and twisted their way through the activity, they practiced using words such as under, over, beside, between, left, and right. The teacher called out directions, and students eagerly placed their hands and feet on different colored spots while demonstrating their understanding of positional language.

🧠 This engaging, hands-on lesson helped students build vocabulary, follow directions, and reinforce important spatial concepts—all while having lots of fun! 👏✨

🌟 Learning truly comes to life when movement and play are involved!

📊✨ Miss Linette Rabsatt delivered an informative presentation on Performance Management and Appraisals 📝🌟. Staff members gained valuable insights into professional growth, expectations, reflection, and continuous improvement within the workplace.

🧠💚 Mental Health took center stage during assembly as our Stingers 🐝 shared the importance of caring for our mental health and well-being. Through meaningful discussions, presentations, and encouragement, students highlighted the value of kindness, self-care, positive thinking, and supporting one another.

🌟 Together, we continue to create a safe, caring, and supportive Hive where every student matters. 👏

📚✨ Mr. Po***ck introduced the staff to HMH Into Reading today 🐝📖! Teachers explored the platform’s features, resources, and tools designed to support instruction, strengthen literacy development, and enhance student learning experiences.

🧠 The session provided staff with valuable insights and strategies for effectively integrating HMH Into Reading into classroom instruction.

Our Senior Stingers Professional Development Seminar is designed to inspire, empower, and elevate our students as they stride toward excellence and prepare for the future. 📚🎓 Through engaging sessions, guest speakers, and a secondary school visit, our students will gain valuable knowledge, leadership skills, and motivation for the journey ahead.

📚✉️ In Language Arts, students learned about the different parts of a friendly letter 📝, including the heading, greeting, body, closing, and signature.

🧠 Students practiced identifying and discussing each part as they prepared to write their own friendly letters. Through engaging discussions and activities, they strengthened their understanding of letter writing and communication skills.
