#ᴛʙᴛ Huge congratulations to the winners of the 2026 St. Vincent and the Grenadines Teachers Co-Operative Credit Union Ltd. National Science Quiz Finals: (1) St. Joseph's Convent Kingstown, (2) Sandy Bay Secondary School and (3) Mountain View Adventist Academy - MVAA

St. Joseph's Convent Kingstown, making its appearance in the finals, proved unstoppable across the 3 rounds as students Alyssa DeShong and Anna-Lisa Douglas ensured that their school etched its name in as the third school to win the quiz since its inception in 2019. These students also had the most points from the prelims. Interestingly, this is the second consecutive year, a has risen to the top (2025 Bequia SDA Secondary School)

In an effort to keep the Grade 6 students engaged after CPEA, and prepare them for the next step in their life's journey, C W Prescod Primary hosted activities that centred on helping the students transition from primary to secondary school.

The students here benefitted from a presentation on "Sexuality & Puberty" delivered by Mrs. Josset Greaves on Friday 29 May 2026. The feedback from Grade 6 teachers and students was positive.

: At the Chateaubelair Playing Field on Wednesday 27 May, 2026 - The SVG Early Childhood Education Department within the Ministry of Education officially handed over the first ever Be FIT Movement SVG Champion trophy to the schools in (Rose Hall - Fitz Hughes). As part of closing activites, the district held a Character Day on the field.

The St. Vincent Grammar School is "master" of reading in French and Spanish as the school captured both titles in our 2026 French and Spanish Reading Aloud Competition.

Jadon Hamilton and Ajani Francis outread their competitors in French and Spanish respectively to claim the champion trophies.
