WOOT! A BIG congratulations to the St. Vincent Girls' High School Young Leaders of 2014. In the beginning, we promised you the general public, as well as ourselves that we would work hard to leave our mark on the society of St. Vincent & the Grenadines and we did! Further more, we made a promise to become the diversity champions of our generation and we can without a doubt say that we are VERY close!
With that being said, we would like to acknowledge the following persons and companies who may have contributed towards our project in one way or another:
- Mr. Alexi Charles featured speaker at our launching (he did an excellent job)
- VIPPix SVG for being present at some of our events and for photographing the events
- Ace Hardware for providing the sponsorship of paint to assist us in one of our many projects
- LIME St. Vincent Limited for facilitating us and sharing some great ideas with the group
- Mr. Randy Boucher for his support and advice
-Mrs. Andrea Bowman For being an excellent principal (as always), for offering her support and for offering great advice.
- The entire student body of the Girls' High School for their support and active participation throughout the project
- The Office staff at the Girls' High School for their assistance with the printing of documents and phone calls
- Mrs. Verdine Roberts (counsellor at the Girls' High School) for helping us in facilitating one of our sessions
- IKTV for filming and editing a GHSYL interview
- EZRadio for allowing us air time
To everyone else who we may have perhaps forgotten, we are VERY grateful for the contributions made.

One of the problems the GHSYL 2014 noticed, was that there are many "cliques" and “groups” within the school, and there are certain places where some students could not, or simply would not go to "chill" even if they want to out of the fear of being chased from that location. Our vision was to create an area in the school where EVERYONE could go to have break or lunch, socialise and still have fun in a clean and comfortable environment, hence the idea of creating D- Block (Diversity block) spawned. D-Block is an area that students of the Girls’ High School would have for many years to come and most definitely something for them to remember the Girls’ High School Young Leaders of 2014!

Good morning everyone, happy Sunday to all! Today our Young Leaders embark on the "Sister Church Project". Each young leader is paired with another young leader and they would both attend the church of the first young leaders this morning and the church of the other young leader tonight or later this week. Have fun girls, religious tolerance is important! (:
