5 Reasons Why All Kids Should Sail 27/11/2019

We agree! ⛵️😀

5 Reasons Why All Kids Should Sail There might be nothing in the world that packs as many life lessons as the activity of sailing. So happy to be running our summer programming again with awesome sailors and collaboraters throughout the Caribbean...
This year two camps are happening simultaneously and we are growing thanks to many new instructors including Christopher Sharpless coaching in Virgin Gorda this week!
Big shout out to Anguilla collaborators: Anguilla youth sailing club, Annette Hibbert and the Four Seasons Resort
And to Virgin Gorda host Leverick Bay Resort and Marina and the fishermans co-op.

Anguilla had some of the youngest (and cutest!) sailors Bow Sailing has ever worked with. Some sailors had their first meditation/yoga and sailing lessons, while the more experienced afternoon group honed in on their racing tactics. All in all, a spectacular week with our new Anguilla family.

Thank you to the incredible sponsors and collaborators: Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla, William Anthony and Anguilla Youth Sailing Club... without all of you none of this would have been possible.

Huge heartfelt thank you to the myriad of Anguilla organizations that supported us along the way: Picante, Straw Hat Restaurant, Veya Restaurant, Sandy Ground, Anguilla B.W.I. Roy's Bayside Grill, Anguilla, BWIand Junie's Car Rental of Anguilla

Lastly, thank you to Suzanne Willis for your vision, and William of www.mango.vi who took all of these amazing photos and has generously donated his talent since day one

Meet Nafrick from the island of Mayreau in the Grenadines.

Nafrick is the man! And... he's our Future Captain of the week. We got to coach Nafrick on Mayreau last month and were amazed by the way he showed up always eager to sail and ready to help.

Beyond picking up sailing so quickly, he really proved his leadership skills off the boat as well. After a great field trip to the Tobago Cays, when all the other sailors had already went home, Nafrick stuck around the beach to help us with the tedious chore of putting the small boats away for the night. After a full day, 2 extra hands and one happy helpful smile really made a big difference and a great memory.

Keep up the good work Nafrick and see you soon!
