Today, our Grade 1–4 students 🧒🏽👧🏻 enjoyed a wonderful picnic 🧺 trip to Dream Park after Gafur G‘ulom as a special celebration 🥳 at the end of the academic year!
After successfully completing their assessments and filling their classroom “marble jars” 🫙 through teamwork, positive behavior, and excellent group work, students 👫🏼 chose to celebrate 🙌 their achievement with a fun picnic outdoors 🏆✨.
The day was filled with laughter 😆, games🎈 , delicious food 🍱, and joyful moments in the fresh air. Students had a fantastic time relaxing, playing together, and creating unforgettable memories with their classmates and teachers 🧑🏼🏫👩🏽🏫.
We are proud 😊 of all their hard work and happy 😃 to see them enjoying this well-deserved reward!

🌟 Nordic International School and Star Kids International Elementary School at “Career Day” 2026 🌟
Nordic International School 🐻❄️🏫 and Star Kids International Elementary School 🏫 proudly participated in the “Career Day” fair organized at Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 state Pedagogical University after Nizami.
Our representatives had the opportunity to meet talented university students 👨🏻🎓👩🏻🎓, discuss career opportunities in education, and connect with future educators passionate about teaching and child 🧒🏽👧🏻 development.
The event also included an important open dialogue led by the rector of the university Hilola Umarova together with leaders of non-government educational organizations 🏫. During the meeting, participants discussed 💭 the development of the private education sector, strengthening practical cooperation, and preparing highly qualified specialists for the future of education.
We are grateful 🙏 for the invitation and happy 😊 to contribute to building stronger collaboration between universities 🏢 and schools 🏫. We look forward to 🤗 future partnerships and supporting young professionals on their career journey.

🇺🇿🙏🇺🇿 9 May - Remembrance and Appreciation day in Uzbekistan 🇺🇿🙏🇺🇿
On May 9 Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 celebrates 🎉 the Day of remembrance and appreciation, a national holiday, holiday of grief, reverent deference and pride as well as deep thankfulness 🙏.
Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 made an invaluable contribution to the victory over fascism. A large number of Uzbeks gave all their strength 💪, working in the rear, Uzbek families took evacuated children 👧🏻🧒🏽, evacuated enterprises provided reliable support 🙌 to the front. During the difficult years of the war, the country lost more than 450,000 sons👨🏻👨🏼👨🏽.
On this memorable day, all residents of the country, like millions of people around the world 🌎, congratulate veterans: in all cities there are festive concerts 🔉, large meals🍲, charity events, and honorary awards.
Nordic International School 🐻❄️🏫 would like to congratulate you on this day that remains the most significant and joyful 🙂 day for every citizen of our country 🙌.

Today at Nordic International School 🐻❄️🏫 our Principal, Ms Aino Puro, held an insightful meeting with parents 👩❤️👨 on the topic of digital wellbeing and building healthy habits for children 👧🏻🧒🏽 in the modern world 🌍.
The session focused on screen 🖥️ time awareness, online safety, the impact of digital platforms on children’s 👫🏼 behavior, and the importance of creating meaningful and balanced daily routines that support happiness and wellbeing.

🔬✨ Exploring the Science of Light at NIS!
Our students 👫🏼 had an exciting hands-on 🙌 learning experience investigating concave and convex lenses. They discovered how light 💡 travels, how images are formed, and what happens when light passes through different materials.
Through practical experiments, students didn’t just learn the theory—they saw it in action! 👩🔬👨🔬 This interactive approach helped them better understand how lenses work in real life, from glasses 👓 to cameras 📷.

What an incredible celebration 🥳 of culture, diversity, and global unity! Our talented students 🧒🏽👧🏻 from different grades came together to proudly represent countries from around the world 🌎.
From New Zealand 🇳🇿 to Kazakhstan 🇰🇿, Malaysia 🇲🇾, India 🇮🇳, Italy 🇮🇹, Russia 🇷🇺, Japan 🇯🇵, Brazil 🇧🇷, Spain 🇪🇸, South Korea 🇰🇷, USA 🇺🇸, Turkey 🇹🇷, and the Netherlands 🇳🇱 — each group prepared presentations, shared fascinating facts, and showcased the beauty of their chosen countries.
The highlight of the day 🍽️ was the delicious variety of traditional foods 🍱 brought by our students 👫🏼, giving everyone a chance to experience authentic tastes from different cultures.
This event was a wonderful 😍 opportunity for our students 👧🏻🧒🏽 to learn, explore, and appreciate the richness of our global 🌎 community ❤️.

Our Grade 2 students 🧒🏽👧🏻 had a hands-on and exciting math lesson, bringing geometry to life right in the classroom! 🧠💡
Using simple materials, our young learners explored different 2D shapes by building them on their own. From triangles 🔺 to pentagons 🔷, students practiced identifying shapes, counting sides and vertices, and understanding how shapes are formed.
This interactive activity not only strengthened their math 🧮 skills but also encouraged creativity, focus, and problem-solving 🤝✨.
Learning math has never been this fun 🤩 ! We are so proud 😊 of our little mathematicians 👏💛.

Every year on April 2️⃣3️⃣, we celebrate World Book Day 📚 (also known as World Book and Copyright Day) to honour the incredible works 📝 of authors from around the world 🌎.
This special day is recognised by UNESCO and celebrated in over 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ countries 🌏, promoting the joy of reading, writing ✍🏻, publishing, and the importance of books in our lives.
At Nordic International School 🐻❄️🏫, we proudly celebrate 🥳 this day every year. Our students 👫 shared their favourite books 📖 and stories, showing enthusiasm and creativity across all classes.
Reading 🙇🏻♂️ plays a vital role in a child’s development. It helps expand vocabulary, build literacy skills, improve communication 🗣, and deepen understanding of the world 🌍. Our teachers 👩🏻🏫 continuously encourage students to develop a love 💕 for reading.
It was truly wonderful 😍 to see the children’s passion for books, their appreciation of stories, and their understanding of how to care for their school and home libraries 📚.
