SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAMS ARE HERE!

Looking for an exciting and hands-on summer experience for your child? Join us this summer for two awesome camps designed to inspire creativity, teamwork, and technology skills!

🤖 Beginner Robotics
Students will learn the fundamentals of robotics, problem-solving, coding, and engineering through fun interactive projects.

⚽ 🚁 Drone Soccer
Experience the fast-growing sport of Drone Soccer! Campers will learn how to fly drones, work as a team, and compete in exciting aerial matches inside a drone arena.

These camps are perfect for students who love technology, gaming, building, and hands-on activities!

These students did an amazing job learning the fundamentals of robotics while having fun along the way. We appreciate our parents for trusting us with your children and supporting their learning journey.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to our Engineering Club students who volunteered their time to help mentor and support the campers, as well as our instructor for providing outstanding guidance throughout the camp.

Scott comes to us from Pursuit Aerospace and brings a wealth of industry expertise in precision CNC machining, Wire EDM, tool making, and programming. Under Scott’s guidance, students will gain hands-on experience in CAM programming and earn industry-recognized certifications in Fusion 360 and Mastercam.

🛠️ Precision Machining – Now in Session!

Another group of students has officially started our Precision Machining program. Hands-on training, industry-relevant skills, and career-focused learning begin now!

Thank you to everyone who attended our Advanced Manufacturing Industry Advisory Board meeting yesterday. We truly appreciate your time, insights, and continued support. Your feedback plays a vital role in helping us strengthen our programs and ensure we are preparing students with the skills needed for today’s workforce. We look forward to continued collaboration!

This week, Indian River State College hosted a hands-on CNC Machine Tool Calibration Workshop with support from HFO Trident and Renishaw.

From process control to modern calibration techniques, it was a great opportunity for industry, faculty, and students to learn together.
