Student leadership is about to enter a new chapter. We are thrilled to present the 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳.

These aspiring leaders come forward with their own ideas, experiences, and goals for the student body. Taking on a position in the council also means taking on the responsibility of working with fellow students, understanding their concerns, and being part of the efforts that can help make our college community better. Each candidate has something different to offer, and this election gives everyone the chance to choose who they think can take on that responsibility.

The Central Student Council of Misamis University joins the nation in observing National Hazing Prevention Week from February 9–13, 2026, in line with Proclamation No. 907.

Hazing has no place in our university and in any organization that values dignity, safety, and genuine brotherhood or sisterhood. True leadership is built on respect. True unity is formed through trust — not fear.

Let us continue to promote safe spaces where every student feels protected, valued, and heard. Together, we stand for a community free from violence and abuse.
