Tusky Valley PATHS

Tusky Valley PATHS PATHS-"Parents and Teachers Helping Students"- is an organization working with the TV Middle school, connecting parents, teachers, and students.

PATHS is a parent teacher organization serving the Middle school (grades 5-8) for the Tusky Valley School District. PATHS helps with the book fairs, fund raisers, dances, parties, and more in the middle school building. We are planning lots of new things for the upcoming school years! Anyone and everyone is welcome to come participate :)

PATHS is in need of volunteers for several upcoming events:

1. Book Fair (February 9-11): morning, afternoon, or all day
2. STEAM Night (February 11, 4-7pm): craft/activity and food
3. 5th/6th Grade Valentine's Day parties (February 12th, 1-2:30pm): or 12:30 to help set up if you can.

Thank you to all the parents, teachers, grandparents, and friends who helped out at the Fall Party today, and/or sent in treats and candy! We very much appreciate it! The kids had a blast :)

We hope to see everyone at the Literacy night November 4 from 4-7pm at TVMS for a free cookout and craft, stations from the community, and books :)

Tomorrow will be the final round up of fundraiser forms and money. Checks can be made out to PATHS. 10 percent of the kids' sales will be added to their student accounts. This helps pay for 6th grade camp as well as the 8th grade Washington, DC trip :)

Pick up of pizza/cookie dough kits will be right after school on October 29 in the cafeteria at TVMS.

PATHS Newsletter and Updates

Book Fair ~~ October 12-14. We are in need of volunteers during these school days to help sell books.

Fall Party ~~ October 30. NEW Games, food, and drink. ☺ We could use parent volunteers to help hand out food and run games.
~We are asking that donations of small prizes be sent in to the school by Monday, October 26th. Examples include: pencils, erasers, & small notebooks.
*Due to allergies, we are unable to accept any candy that has peanuts*

Literacy Event ~~ November 4, 4:00-7:00pm. Please join us for a snack, a craft, and many community tables. This is a free event. We need parent volunteers to help out at the tables.

** We are always accepting Campbell’s soup labels and Box Tops. We are able to purchase school supplies and equipment using the points. Every bit helps ☺

Little Caesar’s Pizza Fundraiser

Fall Fundraising information will be coming home with the kids. We are selling pizza and cookie dough kits. Money and order forms are due October 16th.

Prizes:
$100 for the top seller
$50 for second place
$25 for third place

We will have a drawing for two $15 gift cards for anyone who sells more than 5 pizza kits.

The next PATHS meeting:
October 6, TVMS Media Center
7:00pm

The TVMS book fair will be October 12-14. Volunteers are needed throughout the day.

The fall fundraiser will be handed out to students in the next week or two. Students will be selling Little Caesar's Pizzas :)

There will also be a Literacy event at the middle school on November 4 from 4-7pm. We will also need volunteers to man the craft and snack tables.

We hope to see everyone at the next meeting, Tuesday October 6 at 7pm in the Media Center :)
