Sometimes the best school moments happen when students simply get the chance to connect. ❤️🐝

Students recently jumped into a Connect Four Tournament and Library Scavenger Hunt, building a little friendly competition—and some new friendships along the way!

One group of students who didn’t know each other at the start of class wrapped up the period by saying, “This was so fun, and it was nice to meet you. Let’s say hi to each other from now on.”

That’s what connection looks like. 💛

Planning to attend a home football game this year? Due to limited parking on the north side of the building, all Zion fans are asked to park on the south side and enter through the south gate located behind the pool/theater.

D126 Message: We are aware of concerns regarding uniforms for our girls flag football team and want to provide an update.

District 126 remains committed to expanding female athletic opportunities and addressing team equipment needs.

Since 2021, the district has added girls' wrestling and flag football, expanded competition levels, added coaching staff, and upgraded overall equipment. Additionally, District 126 has sponsored 30 female student-athletes at the EmpowerHER Leadership Conference over the past two years to foster leadership development.

Following an incredible turnout at the August 10th tryouts, the district expanded the flag football program to include its first-ever JV team. An additional set of uniforms was ordered and delivered prior to the team's inaugural game on August 24.

District 126 will continue to adjust resources to support program growth. For questions, feedback, or suggestions, please contact Athletic Director Mr. Jack Niemi at [email protected].
