📚✨ Welcome to Mrs. Haberle's Learning Lab, Mr. Mendez! ✨📚
We are excited to welcome Mr. Mendez to our tutoring team as our newest math tutor!
Mr. Mendez is a certified teacher who currently teaches high school physics and brings a passion for helping students build confidence and succeed in mathematics. Known for his patient and supportive teaching style, he works with students of all grade levels, meeting them where they are and helping them grow their skills one step at a time.
We are thrilled to have him as part of our tutoring community and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our students and families.
Mr. Mendez is currently accepting new students for math tutoring. If your child could benefit from extra support, enrichment, or increased confidence in math, we'd love to help find a tutoring plan that meets their needs.

One of the most special parts of our recent storytime at bigredbarnpreschool Yuma was getting to watch one of our own students step into the role of “teacher helper” for the day! 🍎📚
He has dreams of becoming a teacher in the future, and this experience gave him the opportunity to practice public speaking, presenting activities, helping with setup and cleanup, and learning more about what goes into planning and leading an educational event. He worked hard throughout the event and showed a willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
We are so proud of the effort, growth, and confidence he showed during this experience. Watching students explore their interests and see real-world learning in action is one of the many rewarding parts of what we do at Mrs. Haberle’s Learning Lab. 💛

We had such a wonderful time at our potato-themed storytime at Big Red Barn Preschool Yumal! 🥔📚🎨
A huge thank you to Big Red Barn Preschool and all of the amazing teachers and staff for welcoming us into your school and helping make the event so special. We are so grateful for the opportunity to learn and create with your students!
The kids were incredible scientists, artists, explorers, and listeners throughout all of our activities. From potato experiments and taste testing to creative art and storytime fun, their curiosity, creativity, and excitement made the day unforgettable!
Thank you again for having Mrs. Haberle’s Learning Lab — we can’t wait to visit again! 💛

📚✨ This month, we’ll be reading Room on the Broom and having some witchy fun!

👾 Monster facts your kids will love
🧪 A hands-on craft — make your own Witch’s Brew Sensory Bottle!
🎨 Craft supplies available for the first 30 kids — don’t be late!
🧡 Best suited for kids ages 4–12, but all are welcome to join in the fun! The craft includes small pieces, parents must monitor small children!
📍 Hosted monthly by Mrs. Haberle’s Learning Lab in partnership with Barnes & Noble Yuma.
