Trying to figure out who’s who in the school system as a special needs parent can feel… a little overwhelming 😅
There are so many roles, titles, and supports, but no one really hands you a clear roadmap. So that’s EXACTLY what we’re breaking down at Pathways TOMORROW 💛
We’re welcoming special guest Elisabeth Davit, Director of Student Support for YCUSD, for a session on:
✨ Who’s Who in the School System
✨ What each role does (psychologists, counselors, SLPs, OTs + more)
✨ How services work together
✨ How YOU can better connect and advocate for your child
This is part of our ongoing Pathways at Playzeum - Inclusive Family Learning & Play, a support group for special needs families that meets every other Tuesday for learning, play, and community at the museum. Siblings welcome!
Join us for our next session:
🗓 Tomorrow, 4/21
🕐 4–6 PM
