The objective of this garden is to teach and engage Ypsilanti students in environmental stewardship, sustainability, and community connectedness. Knowing where your food comes from is essential for everyone. Having control over what you eat influences your personal health, expands your knowledge about science and social issues with hands on engagement, and influences your community. Having a community garden and growing food meets those objectives and more!
