šļø In Loving Memory of Charley š¾
Iāve been holding this close to my heart, unsure how to find the words⦠but itās time to share that my sweet girl Charley has crossed over.
For nearly 16 years, she wasnāt just my catāshe was my everything. My best friend, my constant companion, my emotional support, my home. She wrapped her little paws around my neck on the day we met, and from that moment on, it was us against the world.
Through moves, breakups, career changes, holidays, heartbreaks, and all the little everyday moments that made life beautifulāshe was there. She knew me better than anyone, and I never had to be anyone but myself with her. I was safe. Loved. Understood. Held.
The past few days without her have felt like losing a limb. I keep looking for herāaround every corner, in every quiet moment, especially when I pour my morning coffee or climb into bed. I know sheās with me in spirit, and I believe our connection continues beyond this life. I believe she waited until I was truly okay to go. She helped me heal, and now sheās free.
To those who knew and loved herāthank you for being part of her world. Please keep an eye out for her in the little signs and soft whispers. I know sheāll be checking in on all of us, just as she always has.
I miss her more than words can express. But I also know I was the luckiest to have her love. And when the time comes, I hope sheās the first one to greet meāwith a meow and a head bumpāright around the corner in heaven.
Until then, rest in the sunshine, eat all the treats, and know that your mama loves you forever, Charley girl. š
