October is AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) Awareness Month!

We believe every child deserves a way to communicate, be understood, and have their voice heard.

For some children, talking with their voice can be difficult or may not be their easiest way to communicate. AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) can give them another way to say “I want that,” “I need help,” “I love you,” “no,” “look!” and so much more.

This month, let’s celebrate all the ways our children communicate and make sure every voice has a chance to be heard.
