Today kicks off our Earth Week at Bliss 🌍💚
We started the morning with a beautiful setup in the yard, filled with Earth Day decorations, a hands-on recycling center, and meaningful conversations with the children.

We talked about taking care of our planet, protecting our oceans, and how things like plastic can harm sea life. The children came dressed in their recycling costumes and jumped right into learning through play using cardboard boxes and real-life connections.

And of course, we included our babies too. Baby Jayden explored with his turtle, octopus chew toy, and fish sensory toy, showing that even our youngest learners can begin connecting to the world around them.

Moments like this matter. Teaching children early to care for the Earth helps shape how they see and treat the world as they grow.

Family Friday đź’›

As we wrap up the Week of the Young Child, today is all about celebrating the heart of what we do… our families.

With so many choices out there for child care, you chose Bliss. You trusted me to be part of your village, your routine, and your child’s early journey. That means more than words can express.

This week we celebrated through music, creativity, teamwork, and hands-on experiences but none of it works without the partnership we have with you.

Today is simply a small reminder that we see you, we appreciate you, and we’re grateful to be connected.

We are family. đź’›

Artsy Thursday at Bliss 🎨✨

Today was all about creativity, exploration, and letting the children express themselves freely. From Color Wonder magic to ink pad stamping and writing on easels with dry erase markers, every child had a chance to create in their own way.

No pressure. No perfection. Just pure creativity.

These moments are more than just art. They support fine motor skills, imagination, self-expression, and confidence. Even our youngest learners were engaged, exploring textures, colors, and movement.

Work Together Wednesday đź’›

Today was all about teamwork, responsibility, and real-life learning. Our children worked side by side using their cleaning caddies—spraying, wiping, organizing, and caring for their environment together.

These moments may look simple, but they are powerful. Children are building independence, cooperation, problem-solving skills, and pride in their space.

From cleaning to pretend play with tools like lawn mowers and more, this is what meaningful, hands-on learning looks like.

We’re not just playing…
we’re learning life skills every single day.

Working Together Wednesday was all about teamwork, connection, and learning through play.

Today the children worked side by side building with blocks, caring for our garden, doing yard work, and even helping with cleaning using their own little caddies. These moments may look like play, but they’re building real-life skills.

From communication and cooperation to problem-solving and responsibility, every activity gave them a chance to learn how to work together.

This is what early childhood education looks like. Not just play, but purpose.

Week of the Young Child continues and we’re just getting started.

Tasty Tuesday at Bliss Child Care 🍓🍊

Today is all about exploring healthy foods in a hands-on, meaningful way as part of Week of the Young Child.

Our children will be washing, mixing, and tasting fresh fruit while building important skills along the way. From fine motor development to sensory exploration and language growth, every moment had purpose.

Even our little ones will be able to safely explore textures and flavors, experiencing food in a way that supports curiosity and confidence.

This is more than just making a fruit salad.
This is learning through real experiences.

Because at Bliss, caregiving is curriculum.

Music Monday at Bliss Child Care 🎶

Today was all about movement, connection, and exploration through music as part of Week of the Young Child.

Our infants and toddlers didn’t just listen to music… they experienced it. From drums and shakers to scarves and singing, every moment was intentional and meaningful.

Our babies connected through one-on-one interactions, gentle movement, and sound. Our toddlers moved their bodies, followed directions, and explored rhythm in their own way.

This is what learning looks like in the early years.
It’s hands-on, it’s relational, and it’s rooted in development.

Because when we say caregiving is curriculum… this is exactly what we mean.
