The York County School Division Arts Festival is here, and we invite our community to join us in celebrating the incredible talents of our students.

• Live music performances featuring our talented ensembles

Join us for the YCSD Arts Festival!

Our students have created an incredible collection of artwork that will be on display at the Yorktown Freight Shed, and we are excited to share it with our community. In addition to the gallery exhibit, enjoy live performances from student groups throughout the event.

This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the creativity, talent, and hard work of our K through 12 students. We hope you will come out, support our programs, and experience the arts in action.

Join us this week for an exciting line up of Fine Arts events across York County School Division. Be sure to come out and support three outstanding musical productions taking place this week. Each performance showcases the dedication, creativity, and passion of our students and staff!

The York High School Band is proud to welcome Mr. Troy Williamson as our new Director of Bands for the 2026-27 school year!

Mr. Williamson is an alumnus of York High School and will soon graduate from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He is an avid performer, studying oboe in Virginia, North Carolina, and Taiwan. He regularly performed as principal oboist of the ECU Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Wind Ensemble. He is a native of Seaford, Virginia.

Mr. Williamson has previously served as the Visual Coordinator for the YHS Marching Falcons, as has also served on staff for numerous programs throughout Virginia and Eastern North Carolina. He is excited to begin building long lasting relationships with the students, families, and the broader York community. We look forward to the positive impact he will have on our program!
