Well… we did a thing. 🥹
I’ve spent a lot of time talking about dignity in foster care. About listening to kids. About accountability. About the fact that children should never have to understand an entire system just to figure out who will listen when something isn’t right.
Today, I decided to put some action behind those words.
Protect the Rights of Pennsylvania Children in Foster Care is officially LIVE.
Pennsylvania children in foster care already have rights and protections on paper. This petition is calling for permanent, independent statewide oversight so there is meaningful accountability when those protections aren’t upheld.
This isn’t about attacking caseworkers, foster parents, biological families, providers, or the people trying to do good work inside an incredibly complicated system.
It’s about the kids.
It’s about making sure their voices have somewhere to go when the system gets complicated.
And it’s about making sure rights don’t stop at paper.

But the messy one? The tired one? The figuring-it-out-as-she-goes one?

🌸 A little change around here…
Apparently, at some point I decided that one page wasn't enough and I needed multiple brands, multiple pages, multiple sets of content and approximately 847 things to keep track of. Because clearly I didn't already have enough going on. 😂
But the more I looked at Magnolia & Mayhem and The Dignity Project, the more I realized something…
They were never really two separate things.
Magnolia & Mayhem has always been about the real stuff—the beautiful, messy, complicated parts of motherhood, family, foster care, adoption, advocacy and life when absolutely nothing goes according to plan.
And The Dignity Project came from that same place: believing that kids and families deserve to be seen, heard, supported and treated with dignity while navigating systems that don't always make that easy.
So I'm simplifying.
The Dignity Project is coming home to Magnolia & Mayhem. 🌸🖤
It isn't ending. Its mission isn't changing. I'm just bringing everything under one roof—life, advocacy and tools—and giving myself one place to pour my energy instead of trying to keep twelve plates spinning while somebody keeps handing me more damn plates. 😂
Same heart. Same mission. Just one home.
