🌱 Hope Street Learning Lab at Westinghouse Arts Academy Charter School continues to grow!

Our Outdoor Learning Lab is expanding as we continue adding new plants and creating more opportunities for hands-on learning and environmental stewardship.

A special thank you to our incredible summer workers for the care, dedication, and hard work they have invested in maintaining and growing our agricultural spaces. Your efforts are helping cultivate a beautiful learning environment for our students and community.

Hope Street Learning Lab is proud to celebrate the incredible work accomplished through our Learning Lab at Westinghouse Arts Academy Charter School. This innovative partnership has demonstrated the power of creating community-centered spaces where students can learn, grow, and thrive.

Building on this success, we are excited to announce plans to open a third Hope Street Learning Lab location in Spring 2027. Our vision is to expand opportunities for students, families, and communities by creating learning environments that inspire hope, innovation, and lifelong success.

🍑 Our First Peach of the Season! 🌱

We’re excited to celebrate a sweet milestone at the Hope Street Learning Lab at Westinghouse Arts Academy Charter School in Wilmerding, Pennsylvania—our very first peach of the season!

Our gardens are also thriving with fresh tomatoes and peppers, giving students hands-on opportunities to learn about agriculture, nutrition, environmental stewardship, and sustainability.

The Hope Street Learning Lab is more than a garden—it’s an outdoor classroom where students discover that growth takes patience, care, and hope. Every seed planted becomes an opportunity to learn, and every harvest is a celebration of what is possible when we invest in our students and our community.
