We are youth operating under the American Muslim Women's Association (AMWA). Our goal is to engage the community's youth in promoting Islam peacefully.

Our mission is to promote the values of Islam and increase community awareness regarding our faith by organizing various educational, social, and intellectual forums in New York. Our commitment to our community is demonstrated in our proactive approach to mitigate domestic violence by organizing periodic awareness programs. The American Muslim Women’s Association (AMWA) celebrated our sixteenth annual dinner on November 12th, 2017. All the guests enjoyed a new Interfaith play by Rohina Malik, Kim Schultz and Susan Stone, “Keeping the Faith:Three Sisters of Story”. These are stories from the Jewish, Christian and Islamic perspective. Peace, Salam, Shalom!

Zaytuna College and AMWA present:
Dr. Hatem Bazian, co-founder of Zaytuna College and the founder of the Islamophobia Research and Documentation Project at Berkeley, will discuss Islamophobia and the implications of Society’s Three Evils mentioned by Rev. Martin Luther King's speech given on August 31st, 1967. Reverend Martin Luther King delivered "The Three Evils of Society" speech at the National Conference on New Politics. Rev. King’s speech was a prophetic and revolutionary address on the questions of Racism, excessive Materialism/poverty, and Militarism.
