Located in Yoncalla, Oregon

Safe Haven Childcare is a small, nature-based, play-based learning program in a registered family childcare setting. It is located in a separate house on our property, dedicated entirely to childcare.

My hours are Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, I accept ERDC and private pay.

I run my daycare similar to a preschool, making it a great option for children who thrive in a smaller class setting and benefit from more individualized attention.

Our days are filled with hands-on learning, outdoor play, and age-appropriate activities such as:
• Arts and crafts
• Gardening
• Woodworking
• Science experiments
• Baking and cooking
• Sensory play
• Dramatic play
• Writing and early literacy
• Math and counting
• Basic sign language
• Beginner Spanish
• Calendar time
• Nature exploration

I recently finished my first year at UCC studying Early Childhood Education and have 5+ years of experience working with children.

Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included.

Bus transportation is available for both preschool and grade-school children.

Big things are happening at Safe Haven Childcare!

Our brand new swing set is up, the mud kitchen is in progress, and next up is the slide!

I am beyond excited to create the outdoor play space these kids deserve. a place where they can explore, imagine, get messy, learn, and make amazing memories every single day.

It's all coming together little by little and I couldn't be more grateful. 💚 Slowly but surely, good things are happening over here, and I can't wait to share each new addition with all of you!
