Stopping by for a quick life update on Jeremy. He's doing well in WA living with mom & dad. Mom's currently on spring break from work (she's a principal now) so they went on a walk at Nisqually Wildlife Refuge this week.
It's rare to have such beautiful weather in WA on our actual break!
Jacob, the youngest brother graduates from CSU in early May. Jeremy will travel with all the family to celebrate. We will try to get picture's and update you again. Life gets busy but we still love hearing from so many of you all.
Jeremy still loves video games, horses, cowboys, and pizza is his main food group🤣😅 We hope all our friends are doing well, happy spring!

For those who have followed Jeremy since he was very young, who remembers this sweet face❤️
We were just told that Banyan crossed over the rainbow 🌈 bridge right before his 12th birthday.
He lived a long wonderful life with his dad and Savannah. They updated us along his journey and we know he was loved greatly. Prayers for his family as they grieve his passing💔

Hey friends, it's been a minute since we posted here on Jeremy's page. We've been allowing Jeremy to have the space a young 21 year old asked for, for ahwile. But, we wanted to remind everyone that SWS still lurks in Jeremy's life and after 6 years of calm, reared it's ugly head over the weekend.
Jeremy started having micro-seizures over the weekend and we spent some time at Madigan. Thankfully by Monday evening the medical team got them under control. Jeremy returned to baseline and was discharged late Tuesday afternoon.
We still continue to raise awareness about Sturge-Weber Syndrome and hope that with continued research, one day there will be a cure. Please send some love to Jeremy as he recovers at home. He's hopefully on a path back to being 100% soon💗

Please don't think it's okay to take a pup with you in a car if they can't go with you inside.
Also, pavement will burn their paws with the heat coming. Early morning walks that are short are best.

Today is Rare Disease Day, today we celebrate Jeremy's Journey with Sturge-Weber Syndrome. He's had an amazing journey from the time he was born at Fort Wainwright Army base in October 2000.
SWS affects 1 in 50,000 people and can present in a few different ways. It can include a port wine stain like Jeremy has or it may not. Jeremy's SWS also includes a seizure disorder, glaucoma, and an ADHD diagnosis. We've been blessed with the same amazing neurologist and ophthalmologist since he was 4 months old. That's so RARE in the army world but it has allowed Jeremy to remain stable and seizure free for years💙
He's 20 years old now and currently loving learning jujitsu and kick boxing. He is a smart articulate young man and we are so proud of him!

Jeremy's been in KY with his Ommie & Pawpaw for awhile because their state isn't as locked down as WA.
It has allowed him to get out of the house and do things. One thing he's been wanting to try is jujitsu. Here he is in the black sweat pants as his first test class. He said he really enjoyed it and hopes to go again!

Oh my goodness, this elderly blind handsome guy needs a home, please share especially if you are in CA area.

COURTESY POST: Mr Mojo is a blind 10 year old male Weimaraner looking for a new home through the good folks at California Weimaraner Education and Rescue after a vet opted not to euthanize him. He is currently being fostered in the San Diego CA area but if you are interested in him, let us at Oregon Weimaraner Rescue know and we will see what we can do to assist with transport etc. So far he hasn't had much interest in his home state of California :(
