Farooz Rather leads our seminars Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and will help us host special guest Leila Aboulela, who will join us virtually for one of three readings during the week. Rebecca Kuder will guide generative participatory writing exercises on Tuesday, while Robin Littell will lead us through the nuances of writing through brevity on Thursday. If you have questions, reach out to [email protected], we can still bring a few more into the program for the full week or selected days. AWW alumni discounts are available.
The Antioch Writers' Workshop is back this summer, offering a generative writing retreat with three esteemed authors. Farooz Rather will ask us to consider how we write about place/write from place over a three-day seminar, award-winning flash fiction author Robin Littell will help us explore human experience through brevity of form, while Rebecca Kuder will lead us through exercises from her just-launched book designed to help us navigate our relationship with the inner critic.
Join other working writers in residence for the week of July 8-12— or register for a single seminar with a day pass. We'll occupy the grounds of the historic campus of Antioch College in the heart of Yellow Springs, Ohio, with lunch and one-on-one author meetings in the afternoons. Associated evening readings and events will be open to the public.
