Let's talk goals. What does it mean to be a good parent? When you look back from where you are so far, what have you done that made you a good parent and what would you have done differently? What about when your kids are grown up and out in the world? What will being a good parent mean then?

For me, it's knowing my kids know themselves and can trust their knowing first and foremost. No matter what. They know they are loved 1000% unconditionally. They know they are supported via energy that is felt in our bodies in different ways. It is knowing they can listen to that energy and trust in that moment what works for them and make decisions based on that moment for themselves.

I don't need to teach them facts and knowledge. I need to teach them how to FEEL and discern what works and doesn't work for them in any moment.

Because what would life look like if we all did this in every moment. What if we trusted our own inner voice? And actually followed it?!

I'm thinking about past lives and how we are often asked in the spiritual community to call back all the pieces of you from before that you've given away or left when you shattered. To me, this is more a remembering than a fixing. I'm not asking to glue myself up and become whole again. I am whole. I just forgot. So when I struggle, I remember why I hid that part away and ask myself to let it shine. I ask my guides to remind me how safe I am. I say thank you to the moment of remembering that I was never lost, I just forgot.

Now imagine a moment where your children won't need to do this becuause they never forgot how whole and loved and supported they are.

This is beautiful. Listening to the energy can be uncomfortable. It is such a subtle conversation. All the other noises get in the way. Everything is energy. We just get to choose to listen.

Conventional parenting means mental chaos. There is no way to control others, no matter what we were told or shown as children. We choose how to sail through the calm days and the storms. The energy will show us what our children require of us in any moment and how to breathe into that wisdom to connect and shine for your kids.
