Hey guys! I got some unexpected news this week and have to have a surgery on October 11. Obviously that is not an ideal date but one that can’t be changed. I may possibly be able to attend an event or two but won’t be able to help with setting up, cleaning up, etc.
I am happy to commit to organizing a reunion in the spring but reaching out to see if people want to step up and plan the original date.

As you all know, our town was rocked by a tornado in March. Many are asking about the reunion. We will still be having one, but currently are waiting for the football schedule to go forward to plan the actual dates. Tentatively, the plan is to gather at a football game on Friday night and have a party on Saturday night. Saturday afternoon it would be nice to possibly do something with our families to give back to the community or high school, especially since they will just be starting to pick up the pieces then. Please throw out some ideas, just bear in mind that everything isn’t the same as it was before. A checking account will be set up and the ball will start rolling officially when we get a football schedule. Calvin Jackson, we will need you for food that Friday night! All fees must be paid ahead of time. I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone!

🐝WHS CLASS OF 2003!🐝
I hope everyone is doing well.
It’s time to plan our 2️⃣0️⃣ year reunion. I can’t believe it’s time to think about this. 🫣🫢

We are a year out until we reunite to celebrate THE BEST class that graduated from WHS! 😉

The purpose of starting this page a year in advance is to give all of our classmates and their families time to do the following:

💙Plan ahead- decide dates & mark our calendars! 🗓

💛Plan financially 💵- as we all know it takes money to be able to have a successful and fun reunion. We will keep everything as affordable as we possibly can. Once we know the cost, per classmate and/or family, you will have the option to pay in advance, pay monthly or you can pay by the deadline that will be set.

💙Discuss the festivities! 🍾🥂🎉

💛We are thinking the same schedule as our 10 year reunion.

🏉Friday night football tailgate - food, drinks, tents
🧺 Saturday picnic at Village Creek State park
🎊 Saturday night party

📋This is just a brief rundown on a plan. Between now and then, we will be checking on the cost of food for Friday🌭🍔, cost of food for the picnic and a venue for Saturday night and finger foods for Saturday night. (Thinking if we have people volunteer to bring finger food & have a sign up sheet then that can take care of “party” food)🍢

😋We are thinking BBQ 🍗 🍖because it feeds a lot of people. (We heard through the grapevine Calvin Jackson may be able handle that) Let us know, Calvin! 😁

😎Friday will be pretty simple. We can set up tents & have some grills set up for hamburgers and hot dogs.
My suggestion is some of the guys get together on grilling and y’all handle that💪. The ladies can handle making sure buns, chips, drinks are there. 💁‍♀️

💙We will work on cost and a date.
If everyone wants shirts, we will check on that as well & it can be added to everyone’s cost to attend.

💛We will need a count on how many will attend for each event.

💙When you know how many will attend with you for each event, please turn that info in to myself or Erin Oquin.

Hey class of 2003. I'm sad to tell you that our classmate and friend Erika Jaczynski Fiting lost her daughter yesterday. We are taking donations for flowers. You can take donations to Erin Brawner Oquin at Wynne Primary School. I'll be glad to take the donations and get them to Erin as well. Thank you.
