"Some of my favorite parts of living in Sydney were how active and outdoors-focused the lifestyle is. I loved being able to go on coastal walks, spend time at the beach, or explore different neighborhoods, all in the same week. The social atmosphere also stood out as people are generally open, and there’s always something going on, whether it’s markets, cafes, or events. I also appreciated how safe and clean the city feels, which made it easy to fully enjoy day-to-day life. Overall, the combination of nature, energy, and lifestyle made it a really memorable place to live" - Winnie Welch (Colgate University), University of Sydney - Spring Friendly

to Arcadia in London student Breonna Miller's spring break back in April!

"We just had our reading week (spring break) here at Arcadia London Center. A friend and I decided to head over to Florence and Venice Italy. We had an amazing time! Arcadia Abroad allows you so many opportunities to travel and explore on your own time!"

"My advice to future study abroad students? Try everything once! Putting yourself in uncomfortable positions is how you grow. There's going to be ups and downs but remember that it is all part of the experience. Be proud of yourself for taking the leap of faith and immersing yourself in something new!" - MK Mylod (Bates College), Victoria University of Wellington

"The Australian lifestyle is something I’ve always been drawn to, especially its emphasis on being active and spending time outdoors. I love how easy it is to incorporate things like beach walks, workouts, and exploring nature into everyday life. I also really appreciated being surrounded by people who are down-to-earth, friendly, and open, which made it easier to feel comfortable and connected. Living in Australia felt less fast-paced and stressful than what I’m used to, which allowed me to be more present and enjoy my surroundings. Studying abroad here also gave me the chance to experience a wide range of landscapes through trips and activities, all within a relatively short distance. Overall, the combination of lifestyle, people, and environment made it a really unique and memorable experience." - Winnie Welch (Colgate University), University of Sydney - Spring Friendly

"Experiencing Italian food culture was one of the things I was most excited about while studying abroad in Florence. My roommates and I made it a priority to try new restaurants because food is such an important part of Italian culture. I loved how each dish was made with such high-quality, fresh ingredients. The slower paced meals felt more meaningful and sharing them with my friends became one of the most special parts of my experience abroad." - Liz Ripley (Ohio State University), ISI Florence

"[I would recommend studying with Arcadia Abroad because] it's nice to go into study abroad having already met a small group of people that will be studying with you. Orientation was a great, fun way to meet new people so that you have familiar faces at university. It was also such a fun experience because we got to experience a multitude of locations in New Zealand before even beginning our study abroad program." - MK Mylod (Bates College), Victoria University of Wellington
