Let me know if I missed any or if you have any questions :)

Should you apply directly to the Business school or go in undecided? 🤔
It’s the #1 question I get as a college coach. The truth is, getting into schools like McCombs (UT) or Ross (Michigan) is statistically much harder than getting into the university as a whole. It’s important to strategize where to apply undecided vs. where to apply business for best chances of acceptance.

Strategy is everything and my brand new guide will help. Link is in my bio or comment guide for the direct link đź”—

Junior year doesn’t feel urgent yet.
That’s exactly why it matters.

Most juniors already meet the academic bar for the schools they’re considering. What actually separates applicants is how clearly their story comes together over time. Activities, interests, leadership, and direction don’t magically click senior fall.

This is the year where story and strategy get built. Comment “strategy” for my free checklist to make sure you have each section of the application process covered!!

Tomorrow is the big day!! My 20+ page e-guide will teach you exactly what admissions officers are looking for and how to write your activity list exactly the way they want to see it. I have gotten literally thousands of students into their top schools over the last 20 years and if you know me, you know that a strong and strategic activity list is one of, if not the main reason, for those acceptances.

It is good for any high school parent or student regardless of grade, as it teaches you what the admissions officers are looking for when it comes to activity list, and how you can start your list and add to it as your student adds more activities throughout the years. Juniors, this should be a no-brainer!! You can finish your activity list in one weekend using this guide :) Comment guide so you get access first!!!

One of the biggest misconceptions I see every year is the obsession with volunteer hours.

Families panic over hitting a certain number, logging every shift, and comparing totals with other students. But admissions officers are not tallying hours the way people think they are.

What actually matters is how a student shows up.

Depth. Consistency. Initiative. Responsibility. Impact. Context.

A student with fewer hours who demonstrates leadership, commitment, or a clear connection to their interests will almost always stand out more than a student with hundreds of scattered, surface-level hours.

This is why the activity list matters so much.

I’ve spent years refining exactly how to build, rank, and write activity lists that actually reflect a student’s value, not just their time spent.

My Activity List Guide answers the questions families are constantly asking:
– What actually counts?
– How many activities are enough?
– How do you know what to prioritize?
– How do you make experiences sound meaningful without exaggerating?

The guide drops this Friday, and my followers will be the first to order. Comment “Guide” to be the first to get access.

If you’ve been confused, overwhelmed, or second-guessing your student’s activities, this will give you clarity.
