Dear Cotillion Families and Friends,

I hope this message finds you well. This past year has been an incredibly challenging one for me personally, as I experienced the loss of both of my parents within a short time of each other. Navigating that grief, along with the responsibilities of settling their estate and maintaining my full-time job, has been a difficult journey.

After much thought and consideration, I have made the very difficult decision not to offer Cotillion classes for the 2026 season. I apologize for the delay in sharing this news, but it has taken time to come to this decision. At this point, I simply haven’t had the time—or the bandwidth—to prepare for the upcoming season in the way the program deserves.

I also apologize to those who have reached out and not received a response. I wanted to be able to share a message directly with everyone so that the information would come from me personally. I know this may be disappointing to students and families who have been looking forward to participating, and for that, I am truly sorry.

While I deeply appreciate the offers of help and support that I know will come, coordinating that would also require time that I just don’t have right now. Please know that this decision was not made lightly. I remain devoted to the tradition of grace, respect, and social confidence that Cotillion represents, and I am hopeful to resume classes for the 2027 season.

Last Tuesday night was filled with fun, friendships old and new, good food and valuable dining etiquette lessons. The students learned how to properly set a place setting, where to put their napkin when they leave the table, how to navigate a buffet line and much more! Looking forward to another fun Tuesday night😃

We are still in need of two addition chaperones for the 6th grade party Tuesday night. You will be able to enjoy priority seating😉

As a chaperone, you will sit in reserved seating and enjoy a front row view of the students throughout the class. At the end of the evening, the children will introduce themselves to the chaperones. We are excited to celebrate the end of the Cotillion season on February 11th! The party will be held in the banquet room past the upper terrace. Students will proceed to line up for the Grand March and families will proceed into the banquet room.
Please enjoy taking photos in front of the balloon wall in the lobby on the upper terrace before or after the party.
