The WYLI offers local students a seven-week learning experience and exposure to a variety of businesses, Worcester landmarks, and mentors.

The Worcester Youth Leadership Institute is a partnership between the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Central Massachusetts Workforce Investment Board, the United Way of Central Massachusetts, United Families for Change, Worcester Community Action Council and the City of Worcester’s Youth Opportunities Office with support from community sponsors.The Institute offers 25 16-20 year olds

🎓 Calling all high school girls of color in Worcester & Worcester County!

MAWOCC’s Intergenerational Leadership Academy for Girls of Color (ILA-GOC) is back — and applications are open for 2026!

✨ What’s included:
✅ A FREE two-week immersive program (Feb & April school breaks)
✅ Hands-on STEAM workshops
✅ A full-year mentorship experience
✅ Leadership skill-building in a supportive, empowering community
