Kind of crazy. Two years ago we had our last in person game, a show celebrating five years at Vintage! Miss everyone so much! ONLY a global pandemic could stop our amazing trivia family from gathering. -Daniel
Come play each Tuesday! It's absolutely free, and held at Vintage Grille on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester, MA. Starts at 7PM and reservations are helpful!
We are a one-location game and have built a small trivia family...and you're invited! Hire VERTIGO for a one time event at any location or a weekly service at your bar/restaurant. In a non-COVID parallel universe tonight we’d be celebrating 6 years of Tuesday night trivia at the amazing Vintage Grille! Cannot believe it’s been a whole year since I saw the majority of you - little did we know that this gap would be so long and that our five year celebration would be our final show before all of our lives changed. Wishing you all the best!! -Dan

Our trivia family has grown as of late thanks to all the digital events! I work in a library by day, and have had the opportunity to host events for quite a few libraries during this pandemic! I wanted to introduce a new event geared towards libraries for the Summer of 2021 - TRIVIA SAFARI. It is a 100% digital event, via Zoom. If you can tag your local library, that would be awesome to help get the word out. Remember, as these are digital events, you can tag any library anywhere!!
The all new 45-60 minute digital trivia adventure is geared towards the summer reading theme of animals! I am putting together two specific "safaris" - one for families/little ones, and one for teens/adults. Same premise, just different difficulty levels. The virtual show will be all about animals - in real life, in pop culture, in marketing, in sports, etc. We will travel all around the world from the comfort of your computer/tablet screen (Did you know a safari doesn't have to mean only Africa?! Now you know!).
I will start booking these events now for June-September departures! I'm only booking one of these gigs per week as my schedule is often full and it can take me some time to plan these out. All trivia safaris must depart between 5PM-8PM (EST) on weekdays, or anytime on the weekends. E-mail [email protected] for rates/to lock in your date/time.
I am hoping by the end of this summer we can start having live events again! Thanks in advance for helping to spread the word! -Dan

Important Update from Dan:
Quite a few online platforms have recently banned President Donald Trump from membership. This has led to a large influx of inquiries here at Vertigo Trivia and we have made the difficult, likely controversial decision to NOT and I repeat NOT BAN President Trump from attending future Vertigo Trivia events. That said, he and his team must know that as always we will be playing by my set of answers, and no matter what they've heard elsewhere, we're going by what's on my answer sheet. And I will take as much time to tally the scores at the end of each show to ensure the correct winner is declared for a fair and accurate result. :-)
Miss everyone and cannot wait until we can all safely get back to our live shows! Stay safe, wear a mask, and study up!
Happy National Trivia Day!!
A few players reached out about having a live online show today - sorry I couldn’t pull it together. That said, I’m hoping to pop on with a special digital trivia event sometime in the coming weeks.
Stay safe and I look forward to seeing you all again in the hopefully not-too-distant future! -Dan

Hey everyone! I missed Small Business Saturday...ironically in large part due to the high volume of digital trivia events I have on my plate. I can safely say I am booked/at capacity for the month of December. If you're interested in booking, I still have plenty of room in the new year, so if you interested in a live ONLINE event (office party, team-building, just for fun), you can visit the link below for details and pricing. These games are far more laid-back than the live shows, and unlike those games, this technology is all pretty new to me (Prior to 2020, I didn't know Zoom as anything but a much maligned Tim Allen movie!). I'm tweaking things often and have hosted about thirty digital shows now and the groups seem to be having a great time despite all my normal changes (and there, unfortunately, is no digital Safecracker...yet)!
Also, If you were a member of a Vintage Grille "regular" team, you also get a discount so you can reach out for more details on that if you are interested!
While I really miss the Vintage Grille December shows (Christmas party! Year in Review!), I still think we are too big a crowd to stuff into that dining room during a pandemic. Miss you all! Stay safe...2020 is almost over!!

RIP to a true trivia legend.
Jeopardy! is saddened to share that Alex Trebek passed away peacefully at home early this morning, surrounded by family and friends. Thank you, Alex.

Oh Halloween shows! Simply the best! Here is a trip down memory lane as we don’t get to have the show this year (which would have been this past Tuesday). Stay safe - miss you all SOOOO MUCH, especially your creativity. This is just a handful of pictures from our past costume contest shows over the years - feel free to post more in the comments!
Hello everyone! It's been too long!
I wanted to drop in with an update. Normally, the first Tuesday in October is when we resume our live trivia games at Vintage Grille after our summer break. In a normal world, I would have already posted our league theme shows, and we'd all be psyched to make Tuesday our favorite night of the week again. This message should come as no surprise but it's no less disappointing to write: We will not be resuming until further notice, and it seems like it could be a long time until it's safe to cram into Vintage like we used to do so "creatively". I've heard of select games in different locations having live games that were done spread out under tents with answers submitted via cell phones, etc. and to be honest, I just don't have a passion for that style even if we did change venues to a larger space. The reason I started Vertigo Trivia in the first place was to put a more personal touch on pub trivia, and build a trivia family aside from just a game. We did that, and that's what I hope we can build back to again (and like, it's not like we broke up). I miss you all so much. If you ordered t-shirts to be picked up at our first game back, feel free to e-mail [email protected] so we can make other arrangements for you to get your orders. When everything with this pandemic started, I really thought we'd be totally in the clear by October (actually, I thought this whole delay would be a couple of weeks, **shakes head**).
So until we can all be together, wear those masks, stay safe, and study up. Vertigo Trivia live games will be back.
