Recently a student taking our "MIS 584: AI and Its Business Applications" course shared a testimonial with us on the impact one of their course lessons had on them.
"This week, our class with Prof. Zhaoqi Cheng took an unexpected and exciting turn. Gemini released its free Vive Coding visual app builder on November 18th. Our whole class jumped in immediately. Using the elevator pitches we wrote in August, we built full applications through an intuitive no-code interface. Watching small prompt changes instantly shift our app behavior made agentic AI feel both accessible and powerful.
In just 20 minutes, everyone had a working prototype. The energy was electric.
I built WPI GO, an app to help students navigate campus with an interactive map, walking directions, travel times, and integrated WPI resources!
Still refining it with current campus info, but this experience showed how innovation, creativity, and learning can collide in the best way."
Thank you for sharing your experience Sudha Dadhich!
This is the WPI Way! We aren't just learning in the classroom, we are doing!
