Big congratulations to Tom!
He just passed his FAA Part 107 drone certification exam—making him the first student in our program to take the test and the first to pass!
This is a huge accomplishment that took serious dedication, study time, and focus. With this certification, Tom is now cleared to fly drones commercially—opening doors to a wide range of industries like real estate, commercial videography, wind energy, oil and gas, agriculture, and so much more!

Way to lead the way, Tom! Your hard work has taken flight—literally

Congratulations to Thomas Kozel, HPTC Multimedia student, for passing the FAA Unmanned Aircraft System test! This achievement earns him an Airman Certificate, often called the Drone Certification or Part 107 test, and allows him to fly drones commercially.

Like, totally awesome things went down today at our Multimedia Awards Ceremony!

Our crew has been rockin’ all year—creating animations, editing vids, flying drones, designing graphics, and leading like bosses. It’s been majorly rad.

But the real showstopper? The afternoon group made their grand entrance Risky Business style—sliding in to “Old Time Rock and Roll” like it was 1983! And starring front and center was our Multimedia Student of the Year: Julian Calvillo—a true legend in the making.

Big hair, big vibes, big talent. This year? Multimedia was totally tubular.
