We're thrilled to introduce another one of our wonderful first grade teachers, Joanna Hinds! ✨🍎

Joanna brings a strong educational background and a heart for helping young learners grow. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Clemson University and went on to earn her Master's in Teaching and Learning with a focus in Early Childhood Education. She also completed a year-long teacher residency program, further strengthening her skills as an educator.

Joanna believes in creating a classroom environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and supported. Before becoming a classroom teacher, she worked with a dog rescue organization, where she had the unique opportunity to bring rescued dogs to schools and daycares to teach children about compassion, kindness, and emotional regulation. This experience helped shape her belief that social-emotional growth is just as important as academic success.

Outside of school, Joanna enjoys spending time with her family, going on walks, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers at football games. 🏈

We are so thankful to have Joanna as part of our school family!
