This Is The Real Reason Colleges Are Going Vegan The University of New Haven is going vegan. It's at the vanguard of a national trend. The latest PETA Vegan Report Card, which grades schools on plant-based dining options, found the number of vegan-friendly college campuses is at an all-time high.

We had a lot of fun participating in the Friendsgiving event tonight along with several other clubs. We gave out slices of Tofurky roast as well as vegan holiday recipe guides. Thanks to the Film Club for organizing this fun event. Happy ThanksLIVING!

FRIENDSGIVING gathering is happening on Wed., Nov 25th at the Great Hall from 5:30 -8:30 p.m. Join host the Pierce College Film club and Sponsor A*O and other clubs for a fun night with food and drinks and a showing of the film Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Admission is to bring 1 canned food that will go to the Brahma Food Pantry. Happy Friendsgiving!

Our first two films star Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Steve Carell and Sam Rockwell. Join us for the first Political Film Festival, planned to be an annual event. It is sponsored by the Political Science and Media Arts Departments, and offers free food. Featured clubs attending are Pierce College Democrats, Students for Social Justice, Pierce College Republicans, Students for Bernie, Political Science Society and Pierce College Vegan Society.
