Dear Parents,
We would like to bring to your attention a very important situation involving one of the children at our center. This child recently experienced a traumatic event when one of their parents had to be airlifted to the hospital due to a critical and urgent medical emergency. As a result, the child will be away from the center for some time, staying with his family as they navigate these difficult circumstances.
The family is currently facing significant challenges. With one parent in critical condition and the other providing full-time support at the hospital, neither are able to work at this time. This has created a period of great uncertainty and hardship for them.
In response, we are reaching out to our Owl’s Nest family to rally around these parents and their child during this emotionally challenging and traumatic period. We are organizing a collection of donations, including money, gift cards, and comfort items, all of which will be given directly to the family. Our main purpose is to demonstrate that they are not alone—that our community stands with them, offering support, care, and resources during their time of need.
We understand that not everyone may be able to contribute materially, but even a prayer or words of encouragement are deeply appreciated. If you would like to make a donation or contribute in any way to support this family, reach out to us.

In collaboration with our Bedford center, we are putting a cookbook together as a fundraiser for both daycares! The cookbook will feature recipes from our surrounding communities, family members, staff and anyone who wants to submit one! In addition, we will be featuring artwork from the kiddos to really make the cookbook special!
That being said, we need your help! We want as many recipes featured in this cookbook as we can get! Each recipe will also display the name of the person who is famous for it!
