**Big Decisions from Important Voices!**

Last May, our Middleton students got to vote on three pieces of equipment for our new playground. Installation is officially complete- wave rider and all! 🐴🛝

It has been so much fun seeing families already enjoying the playground this summer. We’re grateful to have worked with **Wendy German from SoWashCo Facilities – Health & Safety**, who visited last week to see the installation and overheard some pretty great comments:

💬 “This is taller than the last one!”
💬 “These swings are way cooler than tire swings!”
💬 “I got to vote for this!!”

Student voice matters and we can’t wait for our Mustangs to experience the playground they helped choose. 💙💚

We’re excited to share that 99% of our new playground is installed! 🎉

A huge THANK YOU to our Facilities Department and our amazing PTO for helping make these playground enhancements possible! We can’t wait to see our Mustangs enjoying their new playground!

EVERYONE Should Apply for Educational Benefits!

Every family with children enrolled in SoWashCo Schools is encouraged to apply for Educational Benefits, formerly known as ‘Free and Reduced Lunch,’ through their School Café account every school year.

Households that qualify will receive discounted or free services both in and out of school. Even if a family does not qualify, their completed application could provide additional funding for their child’s school.
