What is a CHHA? And why is home care becoming an in-demand career in the U.S.?

CHHA stands for Certified Home Health Aide.

A CHHA is a trained caregiver who helps individuals with personal care and everyday tasks in their own homes, such as bathing, dressing, preparing meals, grocery shopping, appointments, and transportation.

So why is this field growing?

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for home health and personal care aides is projected to grow 17% from 2024 to 2034, much faster than the average for all occupations.
