Hurld Wyman PTO

TOMORROW - We invite our wildcats to wear something that represents YOU on Thursday, May 7th. Thursday night will be our Diversity Celebration in the cafe.

Participants will receive a passport to stamp at each table where they learn about someone else's story. The class with the most stamped passports returned to school on Friday will get EXTRA RECESS!!

We'll meet in the parking lot at Wyman Elementary at 8am and cruise together down Lowell Street to Hurld Wyman. Participation prizes for all students and staff who attend!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! Here's what's going on at HW this week. Don't forget to arrive a little early this morning and write a positive message in chalk to show your appreciation of our dedicated teachers.

We have a little over $300 to go to be able to pay for Kimball Farm, the bus, and yearbooks for our fifth graders!

Purchase a $25 Harrows Gift Card for $20! A portion of each gift card will be donated to 5th grade. Orders will be accepted until May 15th!!

Teacher Appreciation Week is next week (May 4th - May 8th). Help us celebrate our teachers by:
-Chalking a positive message on Monday morning - There will be sidewalk chalk outside the entrances to the building on Monday morning for students to leave messages of thanks to the teachers and staff.

The application deadline for the Hurld Wyman PTO Scholarship has been extended until Wednesday, April 29th at 3pm. If you are a high school senior, or know one, that attended the Hurld Wyman Elementary School and they would like to apply for the scholarship, please be sure to drop off or email your application by the new deadline. Applications can be emailed to [email protected] or dropped off to the main office of the school. There will be two $1,000.00 scholarships awarded.

Additionally, we are looking for a few people to join the scholarship committee that chooses the winners of the scholarship. Please email [email protected] if you are interested in join the committee.
