After a LONG semester of being virtual, we are excited to say that we are back and ready to do some science! We are currently looking to expand our group and also have potential officer positions open! You don’t have to be a science concentration! We’ve had plenty of math, English, and history concentrations fall in love!
If you are interested in joining our group or have any questions, please email our chapter president, Nettie Ryan at [email protected]

Congratulations to Camille Schrier, Miss Virginia on becoming Miss America 2020! She used science as her talent, in hopes of teaching kids that science is all around us. We had the opportunity to meet Miss Schrier at Girl’s Day in STEM this year, and she is so sweet and such an inspiration. She is more than deserving of the title. From the ladies of NSTA, Congratulations Miss America, the perfect example of brains and beauty and a true woman of science!
