Our FFA Officers spent the last couple days on their chapter officer retreat taking time to get to know each other, reflect on the past year, and make goals & plans for this year! They had a great time and are geared up to lead our chapter into a fun year ahead! Keep an eye out for our Back to School Night club table 🎉

Our officers participated in the Dane County FFA Officer training this morning! They collaborated with other officers, worked as a team, and also took part in a community service activity making paracord leashes for the humane society! We appreciated Verona FFA for hosting us all!

Belle’s Supervised Ag Experience (SAE) in the area of Vegetable Production application earned her 8th place Gold at State this year! Please consider helping her expand her skills for her SAE and improve for our speaking contests next year!

Happy fair week! This morning we were in the Kiddie Farm at the Dane County Fair! Cleaned pens, fed & watered the animals, and then enjoyed the kids that came through the exhibit! Despite the heat and smoke, we had fun this morning! We also enjoyed a visiting with Garrett, who is showing beef cattle again! If you haven’t made it out yet this week, the Dane & Green County fairs are going through Sunday! Come out and support the hardworking youth with their ag projects!

This is a fundraiser for a Belleville FFA alum, Josh, and his mom, Janet, who you may recognize for her photography skills for local seniors, sports, and families. Their Belleville home was severely damaged by the tornado this week. They are displaced from their home and would be so grateful for love and support to help them move forward. On Wednesday members went back to the State FFA Convention!
👨‍💼👩‍💼Members explored the expo filled with ag businesses to learn about careers!
🗳️Belle & Josh served as delegates for our chapter. They gave input & voted on current FFA related issues and put in their vote for our next Sectional state Officer.
🏅Belle was able to officially be awarded as the 8th place Gold State Vegetable Production Proficiency!
🌟Nora, Tyler, & Sienna crossed the stage to receive their State FFA Degrees. This is the highest degree they can earn within our State Association and showcases hard work in agriculture, community service, and involvement within our chapter.
🐄 We heard from keynote speaker Temple Grandin. She is a leader in animal science, livestock handling, & welfare as well as autism advocate. So special to listen to her live in person. Some even got to meet her!

**Side note: was originally making this post Wednesday night when the tornado hit and makes me so happy to finally post and give them their well-deserved recognition! Soooo proud of them all! ~Mrs. K

Our members attended the 1st session of the WI State FFA Convention today!
💛💙 Frankie was selected as a recipient of the Blue Jacket Legacy Program and received her personalized FFA jacket from the State Officers today! We are excited for the memories to be made wearing it in the years ahead!
⭐️ Our chapter earned a PRIDE award for increasing our membership by 10+ members ! We earned this last year too! Ara crossed the stage today to receive the plaque on behalf of our chapter!
🗣️ We were inspired by the words of the keynote speaker, a National FFA Officer. He encouraged members to “choose the people in their lives, over the pace of their life”!
