Rambler Scholar Athlete Award Scholarship Recipient:

Brady Shuman

Brady Shuman is the definition of a true scholar athlete, demonstrating excellence in the classroom with a 4.05 GPA, in athletics with achievements in Football and Baseball, and throughout the Winthrop Community. A four-year varsity athlete in both football and baseball, Brady served as a Senior Captain in both programs while helping lead the 2025 Rambler Football Team to a State Championship and earning Campbell Conference 2nd Team and All-Academic honors.

Ranked in the top 10 of his graduating class at Winthrop High School, Brady has challenged himself academically through honors and concurrent college coursework while earning the respect of teachers and classmates through his work ethic, humility, and positive character.

Beyond athletics and academics, Brady has dedicated countless hours to Community Service through Youth Sports Camps, school Booster activities, and leadership opportunities, consistently showing compassion, integrity, and a genuine desire to help others succeed. He shows up, participates and helps out.

As Brady moves on to THE Ohio State University, Fisher School of Business in Fall to continue his academic career, he will bring with him all the lessons he has learned throughout his academic and athletic career here at WHS. Congratulations Brady and thank you for your dedication, commitment and contributions to our school and community!
