Winter Park Lifelong Learning Foundation Our mission is to bring relevant education to modern adults and empower the next generation to pursue higher learning.

The Winter Park Lifelong Learning Foundation (WPLLF) is a modern take on a timeless concept. Founded and guided by local community members with a rich history in lifelong learning, our leadership includes directors of programs from esteemed institutions such as Rollins College, Stetson University, and Celebration Lifelong, among other organizations. Their expertise and dedication drive our mission to promote continuous education and intellectual growth. We connect local professionals, executives, academics, artists, and humanitarians with adults who have a passion for learning. By leveraging the vast knowledge and experience within our community, we aim to disseminate ideas and education to the modern adult, fostering continuous growth and intellectual enrichment. All expenses for running the Lifelong Learning Program are funded through the generous contributions of time, money, and volunteerism from our community. Local business owners, academics, executives, professionals, and dedicated individuals donate their time and expertise pro bono to ensure the success of our program.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Spring Term!

This trimester, we offered six engaging classes and were delighted to see both familiar faces and many new participants. We're already looking forward to expanding our offerings this fall with even more opportunities for lifelong learning.

Our highest-rated class this term was The Jesus of Heresy and History, taught by Rev. Shawn Garvey. Participants praised his engaging presentation style, depth of knowledge, and thought-provoking exploration of different perspectives on Jesus throughout history.

One of the most exciting highlights from the term was the number of new learners who joined us. Nearly half of our participants had not attended our Winter Term classes. To all of our newcomers—welcome! We hope you enjoyed the experience, made new connections, and walked away with valuable knowledge and insights.

Thank you for making this another successful season of learning. We can't wait to see you this fall!
