Congrats to this young lady for receiving this year’s Joe Walden Award, given to one 8th Grade scholar, each year, who shows excellence in Mathematics and Citizenship! Also, a BIG SHOUT goes out to the Walden family for their continued support of Denison Middle School and its scholars! Mr. Walden, I know you are looking down on all of us with that beautiful smile. Our girls had a wonderful time today at the NCBW/HBCU Information Session in our Media Center! BIG SHOUT goes out to our special guests and staff, led by Ms. Cheatom, who passed on valuable information that helps our kids begin the thinking process about life after high school and what it takes to be successful! We LOVE it!! 💙💙

The scholars and Staff came out in a MAJOR way today! Although leadership is changing, Denison will be in good hands. But just for a moment, we wanted to celebrate all that the past 2 years has brought us! It has been an INCREDIBLE ride, and one we will not soon forget!! 💙💙
