🚨Things most people don’t get to say🚨Placenta processing is always fun in our home!! 🤣 My babies usually gather around to watch the process and ask so many great questions. ☺️ Last night during processing, we found a very cool finding!! An extra lobe between the amnion and chorion. 😱 Fun little learning opportunity for us AND we get to showcase how amazing our bodies are and how hard we work to keep our babies alive and healthy.

That’s the age I’m living on my own for the first time. Well… not really alone. I have my three babies. But alone in the sense that I’m not living with my parents or another adult.

Since graduating high school and coming back from college, I’ve either lived with my parents or with the father of my children. There was never a season where it was just me or just me and my kids. And now, there is.

Some people know and some don’t, but for now, the Tennessee plan has been paused. An unexpected opportunity presented itself here, and after a lot of prayer and consideration, it simply makes the most sense for the kids and me to remain in Florida at this time.

Interestingly, the very same day I made the decision to stay, another door opened — a 3/2 condo for the four of us to call our own. The boys get the big room and their own bathroom, and Briar and I each get our own rooms and share a bathroom.

To me, everything that has unfolded this past week feels like confirmation. I don’t believe God is finished with me in Polk County just yet. I still have work to do here within the midwifery community.

And for the first time, I get to build a home that’s fully ours.

I am incredibly thankful for my parents, for my best friends who have gone above and beyond for me, for my sister Alison, for my LMC family, and for everyone who has carried me through these past few years. I truly would not be here without the support, prayers, encouragement, and love that have surrounded me.

I don’t know exactly what the future holds, but I’m excited to see where God leads me, both in my career and in continuing my education. I know wherever I go next will be intentional.
