Great lesson with Jeff today with coach Daniel Pachon

“When we started, Jeff had a lot of swing thoughts running through his head, but he didn’t have a clear understanding of how or why the golf swing should move. His takeaway was very vertical, which led to an extremely steep position coming down.”

“Instead of adding more swing thoughts, we focused on understanding the sequence of the golf swing and, most importantly, the reason behind each movement.

We worked on different pieces of the swing to help him feel a more neutral clubface, better sequencing, and more use of his body and hips through impact.

From a very vertical takeaway and steep delivery ➡️ to a much more neutral clubface, better sequence, and using his body to rotate through the shot.”

Coach Daniel Pachon have been working a lot on understanding the “why” behind the swing instead of just making changes for the sake of making changes.

One of the biggest keys has been keeping things simple and clear. The goal is to give Carol a better understanding of her motion without filling her head with too many swing thoughts.

When you understand what you’re trying to accomplish and keep the process simple, the swing becomes more natural, confident, and repeatable.
