Our 5th grade picnic was a huge success!!!! A big thank you to Mrs. Horne for organizing this amazing afternoon and to all our 5th grade parents and staff! What a special memory to have as they prepare to head to middle school. ππ

Our DEN End of year event was a success- even though we had to move it inside due to the high temperature. DEN Dance-Offs, Staff Inflatables, new banners, and togetherness!

The WS/FCS Board of Education has approved Katie Prusko as the new principal of Meadowlark Elementary School.
Congratulations Katie!
Katie will be promoted from her current post as an assistant principal at Meadowlark Elementary. She previously taught at Clemmons Middle School and Paisley IB Magnet School. She holds a Master of Science degree in school administration from Appalachian State University, a Master of Science degree in education from Wilkes University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary English education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
She begins her new role on June 1.

A big thank you to Bo-Ty Walker Florist for generously surprising our staff with floral arrangements last week!
Mrs. Connor and Mrs. Gaillardβs 4th graders entertained their families with a very special cross curricular baseball program that included research, history, poetry, singing, and more. It was great! Thank you to Mrs. Copeland for musical direction !!βΎοΈποΈππ
