I am incredibly proud of our students, faculty, and staff for the hard work and dedication that led to our outstanding 2026 SC READY Reading growth and achievement! To our parents and families, thank you for your continued partnership and support.

At Kelly Miller, we are also proud of the power of arts integration and the many opportunities we provide for students to learn, create, perform, lead, and discover their gifts while achieving academically.

A special thank you to State Superintendent Ellen Weaver, Fairfield County Superintendent Alvin Pressley, and ABC Institute Executive Director Kimberly Wilson for celebrating this special accomplishment with us.

On Friday, we proudly welcomed all of our Child Development Tigers and their families to Kelly Miller Elementary. Thank you to everyone who joined us for Cookies & Kleenex as we celebrated this special milestone together.

What an incredible beginning to the 2026–2027 school year! Our hallways and classrooms are once again filled with smiling faces, excitement, and a passion for learning. From reconnecting with friends to welcoming new Tigers into our family, the energy throughout our school has been nothing short of amazing.

🎓🌈 Kindergarten Promotion 2026 🌈🎓

Last week, we celebrated a special milestone as our kindergarten students took their next big step toward first grade! Their promotion ceremony, themed **"A Rainbow of Possibilities,"** was a beautiful reminder that each child brings unique talents, dreams, and potential to brighten the world around them.

Throughout the year, these students have learned, grown, persevered, and created countless memories. From mastering new skills to building friendships and confidence, they have accomplished so much, and we could not be prouder.

🎓✨ Last week, we celebrated a very special milestone for our Child Development 3 & 4 students! ✨🎓

What a beautiful day filled with smiles, laughter, accomplishments, and unforgettable memories. We are so proud of each student and all they have achieved throughout the year. From learning new skills to growing in confidence and independence, they have come so far.

Thank you to our families for your continuous support and for helping make this celebration so special. Watching our students shine during their promotion ceremony was truly a proud moment for everyone.

🎓💜 Farewell, Class of 2026 💜🎓

Over the past few days, we celebrated and said goodbye to our incredible 6th-grade students at Kelly Miller Elementary School. From their Promotion Ceremony to their final walk through the halls they have called home, it was a bittersweet experience for students, families, and staff alike.

Watching them take their final walk reminded us of how much they have grown, learned, and accomplished during their time at KMES. While it was difficult to say goodbye, we are so proud of the young leaders they have become and excited for all that awaits them in middle school.

To our 6th graders: thank you for the memories, the laughter, the lessons, and the impact you've made on our school family. Always remember that you will forever be a part of the KMES family.

We wish each of you success, happiness, and endless opportunities as you begin this next chapter. Keep dreaming big, working hard, and believing in yourselves.
