WAH November News -
Winneconne Area Homeschoolers
November 2025
Hi Homeschoolers!
October was a full and fun month with a successful kite making day, felt bookmark making, and botany presentations. Last week we split into 2 groups with our teens learning book binding and our elementary students watching the documentary Chimpanzee together. Yesterday we had 16 students and their families join us for a program and guided hike at Mosquito Hill in New London. It was a fantastic day of learning and exploring led by their dynamic naturalist Ms. Ally. We look forward to going back again this winter or spring for another program.
Only 5 more meetings together as a group before we break for the winter. The week of Thanksgiving we will not have official programming but we encourage families to visit the library and get stocked up on books for the Thanksgiving break. If you have a program that you are interested in leading next semester or can offer to lead a preplanned program, please let us know this month, as we will be finalizing next semester’s schedule in December.
Happy Homeschooling!
