Our 6th grade class wrapped up the school year with an outdoor education trip to the YMCA of the Rockies!

Winter weather arrived in full force, but our students didn't let that stop them—they were total troopers through all the outdoor activities! It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of the year together.

We want to send a massive THANK YOU to our wonderful donors. Your support made this incredible experience possible for our 6th graders!

So proud of our 7th graders! This week, they took a field trip to Grandview Elementary to volunteer at their Field Day.

They did an amazing job helping the elementary students and showing true school spirit. Way to lead by example, RMS!

🏆 Huge congratulations to Nolan for writing the winning middle school Weld RE-4 Hero essay! He perfectly captured the spirit of Ridgeline Middle School by honoring his band and drama director, Mrs. Verbyla, who helped him map out his "pathway to awesomeness." (during the school play) We are so proud of Nolan's fantastic writing and his appreciation for our incredible educators! 🎉👏 Thank you to our sponsors: Bank of Colorado & Edward Jones-Financial Advisor: Greg Backhaus.

This spring Mrs. Schroedl and Mrs. Stommes's science classes learned about Human Body Systems. Students learned about muscles and bones through a chicken wing dissection lab. Students learned about body systems and how the organs work together through a frog dissection lab.

Our 6th graders spent an inspiring day partnering with the Town of Windsor to help shape a brand-new local recreation area. This hands-on service project gave students a "behind-the-scenes" look at the site's development while allowing them to leave their own mark on the land.

During the visit, students:

Seeded the Future: Planted native seeds to support the local ecosystem.
Got Creative: Brainstormed and drafted original design concepts for the new playground.
Studied the Local Wild: Identified native insects and learned about their vital roles in our environment.

We are so proud of our 6th graders for contributing their energy and creativity to a space that Windsor families will enjoy for years to come!

Thanks to the Friends of Lory State Park, Ms. De La Cruz and Ms. Caldwell’s classes were able to spend the day hiking and learning at Lory State Park!

The park staff were grateful for our Dragons and their inquisitive natures, and we all learned tones during our day in the sun.
