What an amazing honor to be able to award $13,400 to 12 deserving recipients of the Kenzee Jean Wheeler Memorial scholarship. Additionally, we awarded a total of 13 car seats to area schools to keep our little students protected going to and from school.
Most of this money is raised by collecting, sorting and boxing and backing a quarter million bottles in cans. Your donations are appreciated.

Presented by Ivy Jean Tennant in honor of her granddaughter, this scholarship recognizes students who go above and beyond to promote child passenger safety through creative and impactful car safety awareness projects. Ava and Natalia were each awarded $1,000 for their outstanding efforts and commitment to helping keep children safe.
In addition to supporting our students, Ms. Tennant generously donated eight booster car seats to the district to help local families in need.
