🏀 House Madness is coming! 🏀

Join us for our annual House Madness Basketball Tournament on March 18th from 5:30–7:30 PM at Admiral Byrd Middle School. Doors open at 5:00 PM. Come cheer on your house and show your spirit by wearing your house color or house shirt!

🎟 Tickets:
• $3 at the door

🌟 Fun for everyone:
🍕 Pizza, snacks, and spirit wear for purchase
🎟 50/50 raffle benefiting the Greenwood Mill PTO
🏀 Half-court shot opportunities for students between games ($1 per shot)

👕 We’ll also be collecting lightly used House or Gator shirts to donate to students who may need them.

Parents/guardians must stay with their student during the event.

We hope to see lots of our Gator families there for a fun night of basketball and house spirit! 🐊

🎉GMES Spirit Night at Chuck E. Cheese! 🧀

Join us TONIGHT for some Friday fun while supporting Greenwood Mill Elementary School!

Bring the whole family for an evening of games, pizza, and fun!! A portion of the proceeds will go back to support our amazing school and students!

It’s a great way to connect with other GMES families while letting the kids enjoy their favorite games. 🎮🍕

Be sure to mention Greenwood Mill Elementary when ordering so our school gets credit!

A Little Coffee, A Lot of Appreciation! 💚☕

Last week, the PTO had the absolute pleasure of treating the incredible staff at GMES to coffee from Travelin’ Tom’s as a small token of our appreciation!

Because of the AMAZING support from our students and families, through your participation in fundraisers and your continued generosity throughout the year, we are able to do fun and meaningful things like this for our teachers and staff. Your efforts truly make a difference, and this was one sweet (and caffeinated!) way to say THANK YOU to the people who pour so much into our children every single day. 🐊💙

📚✨ Read-A-Thon Superstars! ✨📚

We are so proud of our top Read-A-Thon readers who logged the MOST minutes and showed incredible dedication to reading! As a special reward, they spent the afternoon on a fun outing to Books-A-Million, where each student picked out a book of their choice and enjoyed a yummy treat. 🍪📖

There is nothing better than watching students light up when they get to choose their very own book! Their hard work, commitment, and love for reading truly paid off.

A huge THANK YOU to Shenandoah Shuttles for generously donating their time and vehicle to make this experience extra special for our students. We are so grateful for community partners who help us celebrate learning in big ways!
